Last time we saw something curated by David Starkey, it was the majestrially brilliant Henry VIII exhibition at the British Library back in 2009. Well now he's back with what looks like another cracker - this time at the National maritime Museum over in Greenwich.

Royal River explores the relationship between royalty and the Thames, and includes an amazing array of art and artefacts, from famous Canalettos to the oldest copy of Handel's Water Music, Anne Boleyn's music book and, um, a stuffed swan.

Until 09.09.12.
