Wow! Some of these images are simply stunning. Crisp, cold and elegantly composed, Scarlett Hooft Graafland's recent photographic series is truly beautiful.
The Dutch artist spent four months living in Ingoolik in remote northern Canada and the results are on display this month at Michael Hoppen Gallery.
As well as looking fantastic, these images are also entertaining in a surreal and kind of stagey manner. A little like an arch take on Andy Goldworthy, this is nature, but artfully arranged.
