This is Steven Berkoff's adaptation of Luigi Pirandello's drama within a drama orginially written in 1921 about the power and politics of theatre.

In Berkoff's version, he draws on his experiences as a director and places his actors on a film set waiting for someone to say "Action!"

By the way, we interviewed the brilliantly biazarre Berkoff about everything under the sun, do have a read.
