Damien Hirst + Gemma Anderson + Helen Chadwick + Wim Delvoye + Rhian Solomon

Thursday, 10 June 2010 - Sunday, 26 September 2010

Wellcome Collection, 183 Euston Road, Kings Cross, NW1 2BE

How Much: Free!

Oh the Wellcome Collection, how we love thee! Honestly, every exhibition they put on looks incredible, and this - Skin - might well be one of the best.

As the title suggests, the exhibition looks at skin, the largest organ of the human body. Taking a broadly historical approach, the Wellcome Collection look to examine changing attitudes to skin from early anatomical theories in the 16th century right up to how today's scientists understand it.

What the Wellcome Collection is always does so well is compare the attitudes of artists and scientists and this exhibition is no exception. So alongside early medical drawings, anatomical models and artefacts are works by a whole host of different artists, including the likes of Damien Hirst and Helen Chadwick.

Until 26.09.10.
