New for 2011 is Sluice Art Fair, an open and experimental new art fair aiming to offer up an alternative to the monolith that is Frieze.
The focus is on not-for-profit artist-run spaces, although commercial galleries like George and Jorgen are also involved.
Alongside SUNDAY and The Other Art Fair, Sluice suggests that perhaps there is still room for experimentation within the tired fair format.
