The Comedy Cafe in Shoreditch is well and truly an institution now and one of the few purpose-built comedy venues in London alongside Jongleurs and The Comedy Store. They have comedy on every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday ranging from open mike nights to party nights with top stand-ups and a disco afterwards.
Everybody gets their own table and dinner menu from which they are required to order so don't eat beforehand or you'll be popping out of your slacks before the first act.
Friday night sees four top comedians take to the stage followed by a late bar and live music. Just don't get drunk and heckle, these people do this for a living.
