Simon Annand provides a rare behind the scenes look into the dressing rooms of West End actors as they prepare for their immanent slot in the spot light. Known as The Half, the 30 minutes prior to curtain call is usually a time of reflection and private composure as the actor prepares to morph into his or her fictional character.
The photographs which make up this exhibition reveal actors in the throes of transformation and bring to light the private rituals they rely on.
