If nothing else, at least Ibsen has fantastic names in his play. Take Dr Wangel for example, married to Ellida (played in this production by Joely Richardson OMG) his restless, beautiful wife.
Ellida has a lot of issues. Bored at home with her children, she swims in the sea everyday and thinks about the man she promised herself to ten years earlier. Then one day, he comes to claim her.
