With the seventieth anniversary of the introduction of food rationing in Britain fast on the approach, this latest exhibition at The Imperial War Museum looks at how the British public rolled up their sleeves and turned to the land as a means to survive the dire food shortages of the Second World War. 

Kids and grown-ups alike will enjoy exploring the wartime greenhouse, grocer's shop and a typical 1940s kitchen.
