Drawing from Henry Goodcole's pamphlet The Wonderful Discoverie of Elizabeth Sawyer, The Witch of Edmonton is a tale of witchcraft in London during the Jacobean period.

Recounting the old obsession of the English to accuse women of being witches, the story follows one woman thrown into a world of danger, demons and murder.
