There's a wonderful, scarily prophetic moment at the beginning of the 'Thriller' video when a young, still black Michael Jackson turns to his date and ruefully warns her in his falsetto speaking voice 'I'm not like other guys'.

True, very true. However, this two-hour-plus musical extravaganza is light on baby-dangling, plastic surgery and paedophilia. Instead it's a high-octane celebration of the King of Pop at his best, featuring dozens of irresistibly brilliant tunes including 'I Want You Back', 'I'll Be There', 'Can You Feel It', 'Rock With You', 'Thriller', 'Beat It', 'Man in the Mirror', 'Dirty Diana' and 'Billie Jean'. Oh, and the portentous dirge of 'Earth Song'.

It's something to be celebrated that we're finally getting a West End showcase hagiography where swingeing record executives haven't barred the use of the full song book. For Jacko fans, this is a must-see show. And who doesn't love this music?

Choreographed by Gary Lloyd who has worked with everyone from Robbie Williams to Girls Aloud via Pink, this show is a slick, spellbinding extravaganza of dance, brilliant music and a plot-line as divorced from reality as Moonwalker.
