The lo-fi, experimental music project of New England Native Merril Garbus, Tune-Yards has been the talk of Blog town for the last 12 months or so, thanks to her highly ironic take on noise pop and fearless recording ethic.

A patchwork of found soundm, field recordings, ukuele plonks and unusual beats stitched together with bold pop sensibilities and a staunch D.I.Y aesthetic this lady creates music that is somewhere between M.I.A and The Raincoats with amazingly soulful vocals. Needless to say we're fans.

Supported by similarly hyped Londoners Trash Kit, we predict Cargo is in for a good 'un.
