The National Gallery hosts a comparative exhibition that explores the links between the works of JMW Turner and seventeen century painter Claude (Lorrain).

Of late, the National has excelled at these kind of detailed and well-informed comparative shows, and with works by two of the all-time greats, this should be a cracker - and much easier to get tickets to than the da Vinci blockbuster...
