Tycho is a producer and artist based in San Fran who debuted in 2002. Tycho's productions play out like complete electronic dream pop songs in isolation.

What separates Tycho from a lot of artists currently exploring similar sounds is simple craft. In place of the tinny, synthetic beats favoured by lots of indie-ambient startups, Hansen takes extra care to capture real live drum sounds with a crack and thump that makes you feel like you're in the room with them.
