Cirque du Soleil present this fable set in a secret world at the foot of a volcano, deep within a forest, a world called Varekai.

The story evolves from a young outsider falling into this world and setting off on an extraordinary adventure through the absurd and fantastical. A parable to life rediscovered, a tribute to the nomadic soul and in the spirit of expressive circus, Varekai is a world that provides a much-needed escape from our own.

And, of course, Varekai is a draw-dropping showcase for high wire stunts and incredibly strong and agile performers. When it first came to the UK in 1996, this independent, purely physical circus company widened eyes and quickened pulses with their incredible feats of athleticism and balance. Even a decade later, with permanent franchises in Las Vegas, they still give a thrill like no other.
