Sir Ian McKellen

Thursday, 30 April 2009 - Thursday, 1 April 2010

Theatre Royal Haymarket, Haymarket, Piccadilly, SW1Y 4HT

Theatre: , Classic

How Much: £52.50 (Highest Price) , £10.00 (Lowest Price)
Matthew Kelly and Gandalf in a British classic at a huge, comfortable West End theatre? It sounds like a marketing man's wet dream. Well, almost. What this production of Godot actually represents, is an impish assault on the TV watching public's senses, a healthy dose of rancour, disgust and intellectual dejection from Samuel Beckett, direct to the West End.

Beckett's best-loved work is a tale of two tramps wasting time, a shockingly nihilistic and savagely funny bit of work that still retains the power to shock.
