Are you a Queen fanatic? The jukebox musical We Will Rock You is based on the songs of the legendary band and features show stopping performances of all the old favourites. After the death of Freddie Mercury in 1991, the band teamed up with writer Ben Elton to create a distinct and amusing show.

The tale unfolds in a futuristic world where individuality and eccentricity have been eliminated and the world is governed by the Worldwide mega-corporation Globalsoft, headed by the Killer Queen. People everywhere are forced to watch the same movies, hold uniform beliefs and viewpoints - and most importantly, rock music is no longer in existence. Those who dare to make a stand against this rigid institution will be brainwashed into obedience.

A small group of Bohemians decide to revolt and attempt to reinstate the freedom of thought and music. This can only be achieved by discovering the lost guitar of Queen's guitarist, Brian May. This musical is a classic spoof of a quest tale including all the usual characters of a social outcast, a hero and of course a love interest. Although not the most intellectual story it creates a basis for musically gifted actors to perform all of Queen's classics including Bohemian Rhapsody, A Kind of Magic, and We Will Rock You.

Panned by the critics, adored by the fans, this long running musical has the crowd dancing in the aisles and singing along at full volume every single time. We Will Rock You is very silly, but no less entertaining or enjoyable for that. Queen fans will love it.
