Willy Moon

Thursday, 17 May

Madame Jojo's, 8-10 Brewer Street, Soho, W1F 0SP

Live Music: Electronica, Pop

A sharply dressed rockabilly kid, Willy Moon is one of the more interesting acts to emerge from London's pop scene recently.

Despite looking like the ghost of a 80s Littlewood catalogue, Moon takes his cue from the early hip hop block party blueprints laid down by Afrika Bambaataa and his Zulu Nation, and produces what can only be described as the missing link between Sun Studios and Def Jam.
