A first solo show for London-based artist and illustrator Yasmin Sandytia at Art Work Space this March and April.
Sandytia presents a range of ink and watercolour drawings of stylised figures whose visages are rarely attractive or cheerful: melancholy, loneliness, even boredom are etched across these expressive figures. But there's humour too - in fact they're not dissimilar in some ways to some of Edward Lear's darker little images.
