This grade II listed park began as a walled garden in the 17th century with a Palladian House in the centre where George II's daughter Princess Amelia lived.

It changed hands a number of times before being purchased in 1926 by the boroughs of Ealing and Acton, and opened as a public park.

The large mansion in the park (not the original Palladian House) is now a museum. Princess Amelia's bath house remains, as well as a temple, an orangery, a lake and the Italian gardens.
