Designed by Foster and Partners and situated on the banks of the Thames, Albion has all the ingredients for a great gallery. It lays claim to being the largest commercial space in the capital, and it could probably make the same assertion about the design of the interior, which was overseen by the award-winning India Mahdavi.
Shows fluctuate between large scale design exhibitions and international art shows. The only draw back about the place is the ever so corporate feel that pervades the atmosphere. But that's a small price to pay for a fantastic venue with such bravado and a huge roster of international artists to draw from.
