Battersea Arts Centre (BAC)

Old Town Hall, Battersea, SW11 5TN
Tel: 0207 2232223

Utterly brilliant community theatre project based in the former Battersea Town Hall, a wonderful Victorian building threatened with demolition in the 60s but preserved by local campaigning.

Battersea Arts Centre is a community project in the true sense of the word, hosting school activities, promoting local musicians, and staging plays that involve and entertain the community. The BAC proves Battersea is notable for more than just a dog's home and disused power station.

Recently the theatre has had a run of innovative children’s productions and new pieces that have incited interest from all over the capital and the BAC now stands alongside venues like the Lyric Hammersmith and the Roundhouse as a local institution with international reach.

Naima Khan Thursday, 11 March
Another great theatre venue tucked away in South London. The seating can be a tad uncomfortable but they tend to showcase a great range of acts.
