Battersea Park is a 200 acre green space in Battersea. It is situated on the south bank of the River Thames opposite Chelsea and was opened in 1858. There is a lot on offer to do in the park including playgrounds for kids, sports pitches and all-weather pitches for hockey, football and other games.

The Millenium Arena is available to play tennis on amongst other things and on Friday nights there is a very active tennis club that meets there. There is a lake with a pagoda and the opportunity for boating located within some beautiful gardens complete with sculpture such as Henry Moore's Three Standing Figures. The picturesque Pump House Gallery can be hired out for private functions or wedding receptions and there is always an enormous fireworks display here on Bonfire Night.
