Housed in a landmark feature in Battersea Park (a formerly derelict Victorian pump house) the two room Pump House Gallery hosts a variety of works by south London artists. The space is light and airy and the park setting is magnificent - overall an awesome place to hang work, and not only because of the constant stream of curious dog walkers/ joggers/ potential clients...
Overlooking the lake, the building has been part of the scenery on the south side of the Thames since 1861 and it is heartening to see it housing artistic projects rather than discarded cigarettes and cans of lager left by local teenagers.
