A white walled, high ceiling and low lit expanse might scream pretentiousness, especially if you land it slap bang in London’s East End, but Bistrotheque is refreshingly down-to-earth.
Famed for serving up classic English and French Food, Bistrotheque is also not too shabby when it comes to pleasing bar dwellers. A downstairs mahogany bar is ideal for an after-work tipple, whilst the PS2 cabaret room specialises in live, non-DJ based entertainment.
There's also art in the loos, which changes every two years. Good old Bistrotheque: they even keep you entertained when you're having a wee.
