Idea Generation is the UK's largest arts, culture and entertainment PR agency.

A few years back, they moved offices to a pretty snazzy RIBA award-winning place in the heart of the 'ditch and, guess what? They've only gone and put a gallery in there.

The Idea Generation Gallery launched in April 2008 and the focus, by and large, is on contemporary art and photography, with music-related photography a favoured genre. Exhibitions are often curated by the agency's clients or staff, which is, we hope you'll agree, pretty cool.

This lovely little gallery always puts on interesting and thoughtful displays by great artists. Their recent exhibition Root Ginger was packed out both times I visited, a good example of the IG Gallery's talent for showing popular and quality works of art.

I visited the Idea Generation gallery between exhibitions so didn't get to see it in its full glory but the space is perfectly suited to intimate shows and tall ceilings, open spaces and a fantastic Shoreditch location really make this a gallery worth visiting when they have a show on.
