Founded by John Spink as a goldsmiths and pawnbrokers in 1666, today Spink, with its three Royal Warrants, is probably the world's leading auction house for coins, stamps, medals and fine musical instruments.

Today Spink is located in the old Post Office building in Bloomsbury, a three-storey Georgian building whose interior has been completely redesigned to sell stamps for very different prices than its predecessors.
