A small to mid-size venue (800 capacity) off Russell Square in the University of London Students Union. ULU's bar area has a real 'common room' vibe, but the cheap pints ensure that you don't regress to your schooldays.

Despite the relatively intimate surroundings though, the likes of Razorlight, the Strokes and Kaiser Chiefs have all graced the stage recently, and the superb sound means it is a popular choice for 'secret' gigs and tour warm-ups.

A word of warning though; on a busy night, the single bar will be packed, but with prices like this, what do you expect?
