Arches is - or was - a club that slipped unnoticed under the clubbing radar. The gay night XXL hold regular Saturday nights here, but for a long time that was it.

Now things have changed. Two ex-members of The End's infamous programming team are starting up a venture called We Fear Silence which will take over the Arches every Friday night.

Line-ups include Gilles Peterson, Ben Watt's Buzzin' Fly, James Holden's Border Community, A Bunch Of Cuts, Eat Your Own Ears and Warp Records. Things are looking up...
