An extremely attractive and comfortable fringe theatre, housed in a former chocolate factory which dates back to the 1870s. The Menier boasts a lovely little restaurant, a café and a gallery in addition to its 190 capacity theatre.

Recent acclaimed productions include pioneering Stand Up Comedy For Kids, The Little Shop Of Horrors and The Mark Thomas Project. The Menier runs a balanced programme of proper theatre, activities and shows for kids, and stand up comedy. It is a great addition to the Fringe scene.
