As the main gallery for the Bow Arts Trust, the Nunnery is an important local exhibition space. The drive for project-driven shows means the gallery works closely with curators, artists and alternative arts organisations.

Themes are generally highly contemporary; expect artists executing projects using a range of disciplines and materials. The Bow Arts Trust itself has worked steadily to promote the world of art (on a charitable level) since 1995.
