Having promoted a night here last night, i was really impressed with the quality of the sound in the venue considering the size of the place, my following were really happy with drink prices, however in terms of management and security, the staff were extremely rude towards the crowd and the security had a highly negative effect on the crowd. The main concern was how the security were speaking to people and treating people as if they were criminals instead of showing the basic hospitality skills required to make the crowd feel safe and welcome. The staff were very ignorant and generally gave us the impression that they had much better things to do than being good hosts. instead of working in collaboration with the promotion team for the night , both the security and staff spent the majority of the night showing a general lack of interest, hosting skills and basic manners towards both the crowd and the promoters.The brixton jamm website speaks about there extremeley friendly security and staff and how well the staff accomadate the artists, promotors and crowd, unfortunatley this was not the case and with great regret we will not be working with brixton jamm again.
