The name comes from the record shop downstairs, and there is a very now looking DJ booth which is slightly odd for a place about the size of a shoe box but the music is clearly a professional job - they have some awesome events - and the food is well thought out.
The atmosphere is more that of somewhere you might drop through to moan about the quality of recent house tunes and berate DJs who are shifting to Beatport than a place you would get your little black books out to plan lunch at.
Seating spills through an open entrance onto the market in Inverness Street for chilled winter fags or summery cider sessions.
