The original London Belgo’s has the usual restaurant with an open kitchen serving up brilliant mussels, chips and other hearty European fare, plus a cellar packed with scores of outstanding continental beers.
Belgo Rapide is the bar out front with louder music, and a young crowd sucking back beer on barstools and in booths, with the occasional bowl of food to soak up the delicious amber nectar. And by nectar I am not implying some weak bubbly Australian beerwater.
