Great pub with brilliant food cooked out in the open and a great music policy. The Oxford is best known to most people as the bit 'downstairs' from the Etcetera Theatre - the smallest stage in London and also one of the busiest with poetry, comedy and fantastic fringe theatre.

There's also entertainment downstairs with DJs and a regular quiz night. It can be a bit crowded in the drinking section but if you want a really nice meal at around a tenner, then eat here.

Always a good bet for beer and often packed with eye candy, yeah, we like the Oxford. One word of warning, the kitchen staff are great but the bar staff suck - make your orders in words of one syllable.
