Cadogan Hall

5 Sloane Terrace, Chelsea, SW1X 9DQ
Tel: 020 7730 5744

The former First Church of Christ Scientists, Cadogan Hall has reopened as the new home of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and also hosts the Chamber Music programme of The Proms.

This 900-seat hall seems to have been built with classical music in mind. The 19th century auditorium features sheer walls and a steep barrelled roof, making for razor sharp and deafeningly loud acoustics.

A great example of a Byzantium-style church, and taking in a performance here is a true spectacle.
