Home to writer and historian Thomas Carlyle from 1834 till his death, the house still is furnished with the original belongings of Carlyle.
As part of a terrace in old Chelsea, many historically important Victorians visited this house including Dickens, Chopin, Tennyson and George Eliot.
After enjoying a gander at the shrine to Carlyle, you can walk through the well-kept walled garden.
