Situated opposite the Royal Albert Hall, the RCM building houses one of the most prestigious musical schools in the world, with its alumni since opening its doors in 1882 reading like a who’s who of classical music.
With regular recitals and performances, the Academy is also an excellent venue for witnessing the next generation of classical music in action, in much more intimate settings than its dominant neighbour.
As well as live music, there is an extensive collection of manuscripts relating to works by Mozart and Beethoven, making this a must-see for any classical music buff.
