St Lukes was consecrated in 1824, replacing Chelsea Old Church as the population in southwest London dramatically increased.
Built around the model of King’s College Chapel in Cambridge, it stands as a beautiful example of grand neo-gothic design, in the middle of one of the city’s most opulent areas.
As well as their religious services, St Lukes holds regular concerts and recitals, with space to seat 450 in perfectly restored sumptuous surroundings.
