Arts Educational Schools London have taught and developed some of the worlds leading performing artists across dance, theatre and music. Founded in 1919 by Grace Cone and in 1922 by Olive Ripman, the Cone and Ripman schools were the first of their kind to provide general academic education alongside specialised training in dance, drama, music and art. The schools were amalgamated in 1939.
It was students from Arts Educational Schools London that formed some of the first dancers in the London Festival Ballet which went on to become the English National Ballet.
