The Great Hall at world famous St Barts is a magnificent, slightly spooky 19th century building with fantastic acoustics, used for site-specific performances by the Barbican and touring theatre companies. The hall is also a venue for conferences and fundraisers.
The ornately corniced ceiling and lavish decoration make this a suitably impressive location for a conference, but it really comes into its own when used as a theatre, invoking the ghosts of past inmates and doctors to create a chilling atmosphere.
