How's this for historic? A beautiful and atmospheric little church right in the centre of Cornhill, St Michael's stands on top of London's Roman Basilica, making it one of the oldest sites of Christian worship in London.
Completely destroyed in the Great Fore of 1666, it has survicd various remodelling and German bombs to remain one of the most evocative places of worship in the city of London.
