As the leading public arts centre for Lambeth borough, Studio Voltaire holds important educational and cultural responsibilities. Funded to the tune of 40% by the leasing of artists' studios, the organisation provides the local community with essential education programmes and the opportunity to exhibit works for short periods.

All disciplines of contemporary art are covered in the gallery exhibitions with solo and group shows supported by live events and occasional performance works. A truly charitable institution that can hold its head high as it enters its 15th year.
