Colossal and constantly busy style bar and restaurant right next to the market in Smithfield's. The food is really good and you cannot beat a brunch on the roof terrace to pick up a bleary Sunday and fill you with fresh meat.
Downstairs the bar staff mix excellent but expensive cocktails while DJs spin slightly behind the wave tunes, and in fact everyone is also five years older than they are pretending to be and generally here because they couldn't face a queue at Fabric.
Smiths is a world class restaurant and a pretty good bar for a wallet-smashing drink. The staff are all demi gods who have chosen to spend their lives working among men - if you pucker up and kiss their asses nicely they may smile upon you. DJ music starts on Thursday but the best time to visit is Sunday for chilled out tunes, good Bloody Marys and meat.
