Tucked smugly behind the Royal Opera House, the Design Council lashes loads of taxpayers money on swanky offices and endless consultations to help companies, institutions and even designers, to design better. They also use their offices for the odd party, private view, or even public gallery show.

We shouldn't take the mickey. These guys do great work making stuff look and work better. Or at any rate, publishing case studies.
