A distinctive late-Victorian Gothic building on Ealing Broadway, Ealing Town Hall now is primarily used for community projects and weekly dance classes. The hall once housed a public library, swimming baths, fire station and had a dedicated room for the various clubs and societies that existed in Ealing.
Edward, Prince of Wales, later Edward VII, open the town hall in the 15th of December 1888. During the first World War, a tank was parked outside the town hall in order to promote voluntary contribution towards the war effort.
All the council offices have since moved to a new premises.
