Earls Court Exhibition Centre is one of those places you can’t avoid visiting at least once if you’ve been living in London for a while. Bemoaned by some for having somewhat questionable acoustics, its massive size has meant that its mammoth stage has been graced by some of the largest acts the world has produced.
Located slap bang on the border of Kensington, Chelsea and Fulham, and served by two tube stations, it is actually one of the most accessible of London’s larger venues. The whole site is dominated by 4 concert halls, The Brewery, Olympia, and Earls Court 1 and 2, which between them have put on everything from U2 to The London Boat Show and WWE Wrestling.
Because of its sheer size, Earls Court has pretty much all you’d need to make a night of it, from restaurants, bars and a food hall with a Pizza Express, as well as a whole slew of fashionable eateries near-by. The beer is not the most expensive you’ll find in the city, and if you manage to get standing tickets, shows can take on a festival atmosphere.
