Tel: 020 7370 1434

Originally the cellar of the popular café above, the Troubadour club is among the most electrifying venues on the music scene. In house promoters are constantly on the hunt for unsigned talent, so there is a steady flow of up and coming musicians eager to provide some fresh sounds for the small but savvy crowd.

The Troubadour club also has a handful of great resident djs playing an eclectic mix of anything from reggae and ska to rock n roll and blues. With an exciting atmosphere, and the certainty of hearing something new, a night in the Troubadour is a surefire blast. When the band is in flow and the crowd are jumping, this place can put you at the centre of a very cool scene.

This is a fantastic restaurant come cafe come bar in Earls Court that serves up delicious food (Brompton burger goes highly recommended) and a great roster of upcoming bands.

It has a funny old history - The Troubadour was a social hive for intellectual thinkers and pontificating academics in the 50's and 60's. It was the first venue Bob Dylan played in London and is also the birthplace of Private Eye.

The club downstairs can get pretty packed, although the atmosphere is great and the people friendly. If you are ever in the area you should definitely try and pop because you are guaranteed to enjoy it.

Troubadour is a great little venue with a bit of history, located on Old Brompton Road.Walking in, you'd never expect that it played host to numerous greats,as it seems more of a dive than a famous venue.

Almost every night of the week you'll be sure to walk in to the troubadour and by entertained by quality acts, irrespective of your particular tastes. Stand out nights include Tuesday's - The Troubadour Sessions, and Friday - Club nights, often featuring a live dj and a few other acts. Weekdays tend to be a faily mellow scene, though tables may still be in short supply. However it's probably a good idea to arrive early on weekends,as the club could get pretty packed.
