Starting as an arts centre in the up and coming area of Elephant and Castle, Corsica Studios is an independent society striving to create a new space dedicated to cutting-edge creativity and culture.

Versatility is the word that best describes Corsica’s work- one minute the space can be putting on photography exhibitions, and the next it can be hosting high-powered dance parties and exhilarating live acts. Interesting, fun, and exciting… one thing is for sure, Corsica is never boring.

Best parties? Look out for the in-house Baba Yaga's Hut events, they rock and rule.

Corsica studios is spot-on as a club. They have Funktion One systems in both rooms, and both are really well set up. In one room in particular, the bass (from a row of subs hidden at one end) is pretty much physical. I wish it was like Howl's Moving Castle and would walk to somewhere other than Elephant and Castle, on big mechanical legs.

Every time I've been to Corsica Studios I have had an outrageously fun night. As Robin said, the Funktion One rig is immense - in my view the best in-house system in London, automatically propelling it to one of the best places to listen to electronic music.

With it's kind of makeshift bar and jagged layout most events have a house party feel and the crowd is usually friendly enough. If there's an artist you want to see then this is always a great, intimate place to catch them.

Great club which manages to feel intimate while still being spacious. Slightly labyrinth-like with different rooms, an outdoor area and multiple stages, it has consistently hosted some great line-ups. It's totally unpretentious, the way a dancing venue should be! You can wear what you like, bring who you like, zone out and dance your cares way, or mingle with randos (i.e. random people - surely one of the fun sides to dirty London clubbing).

I've only been to Corsica Studios a handful of times but I'll definately be going back. The only slight complaint being that it is a little bit out of the way, that really doesn't matter once you're inside, and that is coming from someone who lives in the suburbs so it's my own fault really. With consistently brilliant line-ups and a soundsystem that'll melt your face, I'd rather go to Corsica Studios than to Corsica.

Its always an interesting night at corsica studios. love how there's all sorts going on to keep you occupied, and a very easy going atmosphere.

South London's best club. Great soundsystem in both rooms, no frills dance floors with some of the best line-ups in London.
