This pub is undergoing a refurb at the moment so its bound to have smartened up a bit since its 'no frills' days. Friendly bar staff and a good selection of cider and real ales.

There is also a decent jukebox and plenty of footie matches shown on plasma TVs equipped with Sky Sports.
